Neka King is an interdisciplinary artist working in visual, digital, and print-based media. Located in Atlanta, GA, she​ received her BFA in Studio Arts from Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University in 2016.  Her work has been awarded the Maron Bowen David Award (2015, 2016) and received a nomination for the Windgate Fellowship in 2016.  Her exhibition history includes the following group exhibitions: New Kids on the Block (Mint Gallery 2015), GSU Thread Count (Mammal Gallery 2016), Ain’t I A Woman (Tila Studios 2018) , and If I Told You (2019). She is currently participating in the 2018-2019 Hughley Fellowship held by WonderRoot.
