29Rooms is owned by Refinery 29 Inc. (“Refinery29”) and operated by International Merchandising Company, LLC (“IMC”) (together with each of their parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, including Endeavor, LLC, the “Organizers”). For the safety of visitors, Organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and may on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of visitors to 29Rooms (the “Event”). The Organizers shall also be entitled to remove anyone from the Event who is (i) violating any law or any rule of the Event or the Event venue, (ii) is under the influence of or otherwise impaired by drugs or alcohol, or (iii) who, in the reasonable opinion of the organizers, is conducting themselves in a manner inappropriate to their continued attendance or who is in breach of any other policies put in place by the Organizers (e.g., those relating to mobile phone or camera use).
Tickets are only valid for the date and session on your PDF ticket. Please check your PDF ticket at time of purchase. Sessions are for two hours, 30 minutes only.
Tickets can only be purchased online via Eventbrite (or Ticketmaster for the Washington, D.C. Event). Organizers can only guarantee the validity of your ticket if purchased directly from Eventbrite (or Ticketmaster for the Washington, D.C. Event). Any tickets purchased through third-party vendors cannot be verified or accommodated when issues arise.
The Event is rain or shine.
Visitors will not be allowed admission to the Event without a valid ticket. Each ticket will be scanned and is only good for ONE single-person entry. There is no re-entry.
Tickets may not be resold, exchanged, or returned. To do so, or to alter or deface any ticket, will render it void.
If you can’t find your PDF ticket, please visit the Tickets section of your Eventbrite account.
In the event that purchaser cannot use a ticket, tickets are transferable (i.e., purchaser can give their ticket to a friend for use). Entry is based on the ticket barcode (not the name of purchaser).
Tickets are non-refundable. It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check their ticket, as mistakes cannot always be rectified, and the Organizers shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen tickets. By submitting an order for tickets, the ticket purchaser acknowledges and accepts that all details provided to the ticket issuer are correct and consent to the ticket issuer providing e-tickets immediately following processing of payment.
Tickets shall not be used as prizes in competitions or as free “giveaways” without the prior written consent of the Organizers.
Unless otherwise agreed, any material filmed or recorded by you at the Event may only be used for the personal, non-profit making enjoyment of the ticket holder. The Event may be broadcast, recorded and publicized and you may be filmed as part of the audience. By your attendance, you are granting your permission to be recorded for commercial purposes and agree to the following: (i) being filmed, videotaped or photographed by any means; (ii) full use of your name, likeness, voice and words by the Organizers and their respective partners, without compensation; (iii) specifically waiving all rights of privacy during the videotaping of filming; (iv) releasing the Organizers from liability for loss, damage, or compensation for the use of your name, likeness, voice and words; (v) receiving email regarding the Event and other news, offers and marketing information from the Organizers and their partners; and (vi) complying with all rules and regulations of the Event and Event venue.
Visitors agree to adhere to any policies relating to mobile phone and camera usage put in place by the Organizers and/or the Event venue.
The Organizers reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the Event due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
Tickets are sold subject to Organizers’ absolute right to alter or vary the Event without any obligation to make a refund. If the Event is cancelled in its entirety prior to its commencement, then ticket holders (of all ticket types) may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price but no refund will be given in respect of any other expenditure whatsoever. Details of how to claim refunds, exchanges or future discounts will be provided by the Organizers on the day of the Event and/or on the Event website.
Visitor voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the facility, sponsors, participants, the Organizers and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners, affiliates, employees and consultants (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from or related to the Event. Ticket purchasers’ statutory rights as consumers in connection with their purchase of tickets through the Event website are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflict of law principles that require another State’s laws to apply. Any claim arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be prosecuted in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction located within New York County, New York. To the extent permitted by law, any cause of action a ticket holder may have with respect to their tickets must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then such provision shall be limited or deleted to the minimum extent necessary to comply with applicable laws and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.
